Exactly what it says on the tin: 101 things you need to know about running a business

On every page you will get:

The answer to a question
Each section starts with a question. For example; the first question is about business being harder than it looks and explains the Dunning Kruger effect which is, in a nutshell, "You don't know what you don't know"

Maybe a database of useful resources for further research
For example, section 11 deals with where and how to develop your business through networking. There are QR codes leading you to further research or essential information. There are loads of helpful sites with masses of information that is free to use and easy to reach. Just scan the QR code and go directly to the information you need to start your business.

Maybe a true story to illustrate the point
I had selected the perfect candidate and was looking forward to her joining us. But I hadn't got my "Boss head" on. See how the story ends in section 62 about the pitfalls of interviewing staff. (Incidentally, if you have a "war story" to tell, why not send it to us for possible inclusion in the next edition?)

Maybe a joke or cartoon
There is often a grain of truth in a joke. This is one of my favourites and based on something that actually happened when we recruited a new member of staff. See the story in section 69.

A checklist
Test yourself! This checklist on salesmanship from section 92 will be useful; especially if you think you are not a natural salesperson.
